LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- No. 15 Indiana Wesleyan University women’s tennis played their second and third straight NAIA Top-10 opponents on Saturday and earned a split. IWU opened with a morning victory over No. 6 William Carey (Miss.) and then lost their final Spring Break trip match to No. 2 Georgia Gwinnett.

- Indiana Wesleyan took down a second straight NAIA Top-10 program with a 5-2 win over No. 6 William Carey.
- The Wildcats struck early with a pair of doubles victories.
- Indiana Wesleyan won No. 1-singles as Katie Wilson (SR/Middletown, Ind.) and Lucia Solis (FR/Tucuman, Argentina) pulled out an 8-2 victory while the No. 3 team of Kelsey Vessels (JR/Roanoke, Ind.) and Ellen Hornett (JR/Fishers, Ind.) finished an 8-4 win.
- The No. 2-team of Rachel Bottorff (JR/Newburgh, Ind.) and Alex Mella (FR/Libertyville, Ill.) was defeated 8-2.
- Katie Wilson made quick work en route to the win at No. 1-singles with a 6-0, 6-0 victory. Rachel Bottorff secured the team win with a 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 3-singles.
- Mikayla Marazzi (JR/Abbotsford, BC) suffered the lone IWU loss in singles with a 6-3, 6-2 defeat at No. 5-singles.
- Lucia Solis and Alex Mella were both winning their matches before the match was called when Indiana Wesleyan secured the five points for the win.

- Indiana Wesleyan collected the program’s first ever win over a top-10 opponent on Friday with a 5-2 win over No. 9 Keiser (Fla.) in West Palm Beach, Florida.
