“Another solid performance from the guys today,” said Wildcat head coach Luke Sanford. “While we’re certainly on a hot streak, I don’t think we’ve actually started playing our best soccer yet. This group is capable of more and I’m excited to see that when it comes.”
The Wildcats struck first with a goal in the 25th minute. Kyle Beimers (SR/Grand Rapids, Mich.) headed in his first goal of the season off a corner kick from Evan Young (JR/Colorado Springs, Colo.). Ten minutes later Huntington found the equalizer when Miguel De Sousa scored to tie the match at 1-1.

“The Denlinger brother have been hot,” said Sanford. “They’re really doing well in combination and are putting good shots on frame.”
