MARION, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University women’s tennis was able to play a pair of matches today in the Mark Richards Tournament at the Sutter Tennis Center.

No. 16 Indiana Wesleyan defeated IU Southeast 9-0 at 3 p.m. and followed with another 9-0 victory as IWU defeated IU East at 5:30 p.m. The tournament was limited to Saturday after play was canceled on Friday due to cold and windy weather.

The Wildcats improve to 21-1 on the season and 6-1 during the spring portion of the schedule. The team next plays on April 25-26 in the NCCAA Midwest Regional Tournament. The tournament will be played at Indiana Wesleyan.
