Box Score GOSHEN, Ind. -- Following just its second Crossroads League loss of the season last night the Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball team rebounded with a three set victory at Goshen (Ind.) on Saturday afternoon.
Indiana Wesleyan won by scores of 25-12, 25-23, 25-18. IWU improves to 20-6 for the season and 11-2 in league play while Goshen drops to 8-15 and 2-11 in the Crossroads League.
Kristine Egebrecht had a huge performance today in leading the Wildcats to the victory. She had match-highs of 15 kills, a .452 hitting percentage, and seven block assists. Indiana Wesleyan ended the day with 11 blocks as a team as Remy Bucknor and Rae Brandes each contributed four block assists each.
Besides the four blocks Brandes finished with 10 kills and 17 digs. Her sister Rebecca Brandes had a match-best 20 digs. Setter Katey Holler assisted on 39 kills and was third on the team with nine digs.
Indiana Wesleyan returns home for its next match which will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday against Saint Francis (Ind.). The match will be played inside Luckey Arena.
