MOBILE, Ala. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University women's tennis run in the NCCAA National Championship came to a close Wednesday in the NCCAA semifinals in Mobile, Alabama.

Indiana Wesleyan finished second in their pool as Palm Beach Atlantic (Fla.) University defeated IWU 5-0 to complete pool play during the morning. The loss forced Indiana Wesleyan to play the other pool's top-seed, Dallas Baptist (Texas) University in the semifinals.

Dallas Baptist also defeated Indiana Wesleyan 5-0 to advance to the NCCAA championship match. Dallas Baptist will meet Palm Beach Atlantic on Thursday for the national title.

Indiana Wesleyan will remain in Mobile for the NAIA National Championship next week. No. 15-seed Indiana Wesleyan clashes with No. 18-seed William Jewell (Mo.) University in the NAIA First Round on Tuesday, May 17.

The Wildcats are now 23-3 on the season.
