ORANGE CITY, Iowa -- Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball finished the Red Raider Classic with a 3-1 victory following two big victories over teams in the NAIA national rankings.

In the first match Saturday the Wildcats defeated Dordt (Iowa) College 3-1. Dordt received votes in the NAIA poll, sitting No. 27 overall. IWU won the match with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 19-25 and 25-13.

Indiana Wesleyan concluded the opening weekend with a victory over No. 18-ranked Morningside (Iowa) College by a 3-1 margin. IWU defeated the Mustangs 23-25, 25-18, 25-20 and 25-17.

The Wildcats are now 3-1 this season and will open their home schedule on Wednesday, September 1 against IU-East at Luckey Arena.
