INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Then Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball team lost to the University (Ind.) of Indianapolis on Wednesday night 3-0 in Indianapolis.

The Wildcats dropped the three set match by scores of 17-25, 23-25, and 17-25.

Junior outside hitter Kate Denlinger and sophomore outside hitter Brooke Atwell led the Wildcats with nine kills apiece. Sophomore setter Yui Iwase assisted on 29 kills, while freshman libero Rebecca Brandes led the team with 12 digs.

Indiana Wesleyan falls to 11-8 on the season while Indianapolis improves to 12-6. Indianapolis is ranked No. 20 in NCAA Division II.

Indiana Wesleyan returns to action at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 8 at home against Bethel College in Luckey Arena.
