VALPARAISO, Ind. (Results) -- Indiana Wesleyan University captured a 6-1 victory on Tuesday over NCAA Division I Valparaiso (Ind.) University in women's tennis action.

The No. 16-ranked Wildcats improve to 4-0 during the spring season and 16-0 overall.

Playing at Valparaiso, the match was played under NCAA Division I rules. Thus, whichever team wins the majority of the doubles matches earns their team one point, which IWU won all three doubles competitions.

Lisa Massey and Eva Delk won No. 1 action 8-0, Julia Hedgebeth and Caitlin McGuire teamed for an 8-0 win in No. 2 play and Courtney Kooyers paired with Laura Helm for an 8-2 victory in No. 3 play.

Winning singles matches were Massey (6-3, 6-4) at No. 2, Delk (4-6, 6-0, 6-1) in No. 3, McGuire (6-3, 6-3) in No. 4, Kooyers (4-6, 6-4, 6-2) at No. 5 and Helm (2-6, 6-3, 6-4) at No. 6.
