GOSHEN, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University easily defeated host Goshen (Ind.) College 9-0 Thursday night in Goshen, Indiana.

The Wildcats improve to 4-0 this season and 4-0 in the Mid-Central College Conference.

IWU did not drop a game in doubles competition. No. 1-doubles Lisa Massey and Eva Delk, No. 2-doubles Julia Hedgebeth and Caitlin McGuire and the No. 3 tandem of Laura Helm and Courtney Kooyers all earned 8-0 victories.

In singles play, Hedgebeth was victorious 6-4, 6-0 in No. 1-sinlges as Massey dominated No. 2 play with a 6-0, 6-0 win. Eva Delk cruised 6-0, 6-1 in No. 3 action while McGuire triumphed 6-0, 6-0 in No. 4-sinlges. Kooyers succeeded 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 5 battle and Helm secured a 6-0, 6-0 win in No. 6-singles.

Indiana Wesleyan will next play University of Saint Francis (Ind.) at 12 p.m. on Saturday, September 13 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
