Arijana Anderson

  • Title
    Grad Assistant

Arijana Anderson is an Indiana native coming to Indiana Wesleyan from Muncie, IN. Anderson earned a full ride to Tennessee State University and graduated with a degree in Communications. She served the team as an outside hitter and was voted newcomer of the year in the OVC (2013). She went to Muncie Burris Laboratory School from Kindergarten to twelfth grade where she was trained by Steve Shondell and under his leadership earned two state championships. Arijana played AAU for Asics Munciana Volleyball Club for 9 years where she had some AAU National success by winning 2 gold medals, 1 silver, 1 bronze, and was voted MVP her junior year. “God truly blessed me by providing me with some of the best coaches in the country, training in one of the best clubs in the country, and letting me work with of the best weight trainers.” In August of 2017 Anderson moved back to Muncie and aided the Muncie Community School system, coached elementary volleyball at Northview, and returned to Munciana to coach regional volleyball. She has coached AAU volleyball for four years total. But, Anderson’s greatest accomplishment is rededicating her life to Christ in February of 2017. “I am honored to be a part of the IWU family. I look forward to growing and serving here!”  “Ari brings so much positive energy to our program.  I am excited about her knowledge of the game but also her love for the Lord and the impact she will make in our student-athletes lives,” said Head Coach Candace Moats.
