Gabby joins the 2016-2017 staff after a standout 4 year career her at IWU where she started all 4 years and graduated last May.  Gabby, a true second baseman, helped the team when they needed it at 3rd, short, and most profoundly 2nd where she was the League's gold glove second baseman in 2015.  She had a career .345 batting average and led the team her freshman year with a .381 batting average.  She compiled 42 doubles 5 triples and 3 homeruns.  She found a way on base with 80 walks while scoring 152 times and driving in 113.  Gabby was a threat on the base paths and swiped 43 bases out of 48 attempts.  "As great of a softball career Gabby had at IWU her legacy was even greater as a teammate, "added Head IWU Coach Babinski, "She was the model of servant leadership, a leader in the dugout and made lasting differences by the relationships she invested in year to year."  Gabby was amazing in the classroom leading the team in top 3 or 4 players with GPAs.  She was an NAIA Scholar Athlete both years she was able to.  Gabby was player the week, All League, Gold Glove and was a stud infielder and student of the game.  "It makes so much sense to me the she would coach."
