Jordan Weidner

Jordan Weidner enters his 1st season on Greg Tonagel’s staff at Indiana Wesleyan in 2017-18.

Weidner first came to Indiana Wesleyan as a member of the men’s basketball team in 2010. He played all four years at Indiana Wesleyan and finished his career third on the all-time scoring list with 2,224 points. As a senior, Weidner led Indiana Wesleyan to the program’s first national championship. During that season, Weidner was named the Crossroads League Player of the Year, NAIA All-America First Team, and the Most Outstanding Player at the NAIA National Championship.

Upon graduating from Indiana Wesleyan in 2014, Weidner was selected first overall in the NBL Canada draft by the Mississauga Power. In his rookie season he was a member of the All-Rookie Team. After a short professional basketball stint, Weidner returned to Plainfield, Indiana where he did basketball specific skill and development training for younger kids. Last season, he spent time as a freshmen boys basketball head coach at Avon High School in Avon, Indiana.
