Abby Dunbar began working as a member of Indiana Wesleyan University’s Athletic Training staff in 2022 and currently provides medical services to Football and Men’s/Women’s Track & Field.
Before arriving at IWU, she worked at a large high school in Indianapolis, Indiana for 3 years.
Dunbar’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Indiana Wesleyan University. She is also a Mental Health First Aid Instructor.
Dunbar is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Association, and the Indiana Athletic Trainers Association and serves as a preceptor in the IWU Master of Science Athletic Training program. She holds certifications in Mental Health First Aid and CPR/AED/First Aid.
Abby lives in Marion, Indiana with her husband, Zach and daughter, Charlotte. Together, they enjoy board games, taking their dog on walks, and playing pickleball.
