Chad Newhard was put in charge of the Wildcat baseball program beginning in 2008-09. In seven seasons at the helm, Newhard led the Wildcats to a 155-224 (.409) overall record and a 90-110 (.450) mark in Crossroads League play.

In 2010, Newhard led Indiana Wesleyan to its first -- and only -- Mid-Central College Conference Tournament championship appearance. Indiana Wesleyan advanced to the NCCAA World Series that season and finished seventh in the country.

“We are grateful to Chad for his commitment to serving the mission of IWU Athletics faithfully and diligently for the past seven years,” said Indiana Wesleyan Director of Athletics Mark DeMichael. “We wish him the very best as he pursues the opportunities that the Lord has for him in the future.”
