HIGH SCHOOL: Buchanan comes to IWU after a stellar senior campaign, earning Indiana All-Star honors for his success on the court. Buchanan averaged 20.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.8 steals, 2.2 assists and 1.8 blocks per game for a Bronchos team that finished 21-5 in 2021-22. Buchanan tallied eight games with at least 25 and on two occasions poured in more than 30, including 31 during the IU Health Hoops Classic, a tournament he was named MVP in this past season. He finished the season shooting 51% from the floor and was named to the Indiana Large School All-State with fellow class member Caedmon Bontrager.
