MARION, Ind. - No. 16 Indiana Wesleyan Men's Soccer welcomed Westcliff University for an afternoon match on Saturday. The Wildcats took the lead in the first half, but a late goal by the Warriors forced the match to a 1-1 draw.
After 30 minutes of action, Yarek Carnegie continued to lead the IWU offense this season as he scored to give the home team the lead assisted by Valentino Solari who gains his first point as a Wildcat. The first half featured a 30 minute lightning delay before getting back to action and finishing the period. As the teams battled in the second half, Westcliff found their footing in the 76th minute and scored to tie the match. A physical final 14 minutes finished the day and the result stayed 1-1.

WHAT HAPPENED
- IWU scored first in the 35th minute when Yarek Carnegie received a pass from Valentino Solari and put in the back of the net.
- Immediately after the goal was scored the game was forced into a lightning delay.
