- Indiana Wesleyan used a 3-0 run, featuring kills from Aubree Deshetsky and Marin Sanchez, to take a 3-1 lead, but Huntington answered with a 3-0 run, featuring a service ace and a kill from Trevyn Terry, to take a 4-3 lead.
- The Foresters extended the lead to 10-5 with a 4-0 run, featuring back-to-back kills from Maggie Hollon, but trailing 5-10, Indiana Wesleyan reeled off a 7-0 run, featuring three kills from Aubree Deshetsky and two service aces from Payton Barendsen, to take a 12-10 lead.
