JACKSON, Mich. - Indiana Wesleyan Men's Soccer sophomore Mariano Chaves was named the Crossroads League Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. This is the first career Crossroads League POTW award for Chaves and the first of the 2026 season for IWU Men's Soccer.

Chaves helped the WIldcats to a 2-0 week last week by scoring his third and fourth goals of the year, including the game winner over No. 8 University of Rio Grande (Ohio). 

IWU starts Crossroads action on Wednesday, September 23rd against Spring Arbor.
