MARION, Ind. - No. 15 Indiana Wesleyan Men's Soccer took on its penultimate non-conference opponent in the Boyce College Bulldogs on Thursday afternoon. The Wildcats dominated from the start, scoring 7 in the first half and 5 in the second while posting a combined shutout.

Mariano Chaves scored the first in just the 4th minute of play, assisted by Yarek Carnegie. Jose Garcia then put the team up 2-0 in the 8th minute. Just after 11 minutes in, Camilo Pereda scored his first career goal assisted by Kai Haskell. Mohammed Alshabot joined the party with his first goal as a Wildcat with an assist by Isaiah Arredondo. The fifth goal of the first half came from senior Seth Kallem in the 30th minute. David Masha and Javier Enciso both gained their first collegiate goals as well in the 35th and 39th minutes respectively.

The Wildcats kept their foot on the pedal after halftime and Jameson Neill scored 23 seconds into the second period. Arredondo picked up his second assist of the match when Dennis Otieno scored in the 56th minute. After 18 more minutes, Neill found the back of the net for his second goal to get IWU to double digits. Fiston Kayitare recorded both assits on Neill's goals. Arredondo and Kayitare would then add to their 2 assist by each scoring a goal in the 87th and 89th minutes. Goalkeepers Ralph Montero and Callum Donnell kept the goal secure combining for the shutout.

• Right out of halftime, Jameson Neill scored his first of the match assisted by Fiston Kayitare.
• 10 minutes later, Dennis Otieno put in the 9th goal assisted by Isaiah Arredondo.
• Kayitare and Neill connected for the second time in the 74th minute to reach 10 goals.
• Arredondo and Kayitare finished the match with goals in the 87th and 89th minutes.

• 9: 9 different Wildcats scored their first goals of 2026 and multiple picked up their first career goals.
• 4: Isaiah Arredondo, Fiston Kayitare, and Jameson Neill each picked up 4 points in the match.
• 12: IWU scored a season-high 12 goals, the team's highest total since putting up 11 against Franklin in 2024.

• "I'm really proud of the team; we have grown very close and we showed that we have a lot of depth on the bench," said sophomore Jameson Neill. "The new guys got to show out today, I'm really proud of the freshman for raising the level of play. I knew when I got subbed on second half I had to be hungry and not let off the gas and we didn't and I ended up scoring in the first minute and I'm so thankful for what God has done for me and how he is working in the team."
