MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan Football kicker Josh Clifton was named the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Mideast Special Teams Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. This is the first time he has claimed the honor this season, and the second MSFA weekly award for the Wildcats this year.

Clifton was a perfect 7-7 on PAT in a 68-0 win over Saint Mary of the Woods. He connected on a 20 yard field goal and scored 10 total points in the win, while also booting five touchbacks on 10 kickoffs and averaged 63.4 yards per attempt.

IWU will travel to Saint Xavier (Ill.) on Sept. 19 at 7:00PM Eastern.
