LIVONIA, Mich. – Indiana Wesleyan University Club Women's Soccer entered their second game of the season by traveling to Livonia, Michigan for a strong matchup against Madonna University. Indiana Wesleyan, entering the game after a tough loss to Marian two days prior, looked to add a win to their record. Madonna, whose season started a week before IWU, had a very strong beginning schedule before playing IWU. This matchup was a strong one, with a 0-0 score until the very end of the first half. However, Madonna was able to net one near the end of the first period and another in the second half and came away with the victory.

• A very good battle for the first 35 minutes of the game, with back-and-forth play coming from both teams' midfielders.
• IWU's back line and GK held strong against a tough attacking Madonna frontline.
• MU capitalized on a difficult bouncing ball, and the breakthrough for the first goal happened with about 5 minutes left of the first half.
• MU took the crown for the number of shots taken, with 7 shots to IWU's 1.

• With a 0-1 scoreline, the Wildcats looked to gain momentum and grab any attacking moments they could get to tie it.
• MU continued to find ways to get more shots, but IWU's defense battled hard.

• Paige Miller, a junior from Washington, Indiana, led the young backline and was a focal point for the low-scoring game.
