MARION, Ind. - No. 16 Indiana Wesleyan Men's Soccer faced off with its third ranked opponent of the season on Saturday afternoon, the Blue Raiders of No. 10 Lindsey Wilson College. IWU took the lead in the first half, but Lindsey Wilson was able to score twice in the second half to take the match, 2-1.
IWU applied pressure on the Blue Raiders early and forced the Lindsey Wilson goalkeeper to make five saves in the first half. The Wildcats capitalized on their attack at the end of the period with a goal in the 43rd minute by Mariano Chaves assisted by Seth Kallem. Despite the onslaught, LWC was able to comeback and scored twice in the span of 7 minutes in the 61st and 68th minutes. IWU pushed to even the match but were unable and fell for the first time in 2026.
