MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — Indiana Wesleyan Women's Volleyball, ranked #6 nationally, rallied from a two-set deficit to outlast #15 Mount Vernon Nazarene in five sets Friday, winning 28-30, 23-25, 25-18, 25-17, 15-10 at Ariel Arena. The Wildcats won three straight sets after dropping the first two, improving to 10-4 overall (3-1 CRL) and bouncing back from Wednesday's upset loss to Marian.
Aubree Deshetsky set a season high with 25 kills, and Indiana Wesleyan posted season highs in team kills (72) and assists (68) in the win.

SET ONE
- Mount Vernon Nazarene opened with a 3-0 run and extended the lead to 19-9 with a series of 4-0 runs.
- Trailing 11-20, Indiana Wesleyan reeled off a 5-0 run, featuring kills from Marin Sanchez and Shae Williams, to close within 20-16, then added a 4-0 run to close within 21-20.
- The Wildcats took the lead with a 3-0 run, featuring a kill from Marin Sanchez, a service ace from Payton Barendsen and a kill from Aubree Deshetsky, to go up 23-22, but Mount Vernon Nazarene closed out the extra-point set, winning 30-28.

- The Wildcats extended the lead to 11-7 with a 3-0 run, and despite a Mount Vernon Nazarene run closing the gap to 15-14, Indiana Wesleyan answered with back-to-back 3-0 runs, featuring kills from Shae Williams, Jaycee Folkers and Marin Sanchez, to lead 22-16.
