LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Indiana Wesleyan University's athletic communications team earned national recognition from College Sports Communicators (CSC), collecting 13 honors in the 2025-26 CSC Creative & Digital Design Contest against one of the largest and most competitive fields in the history of the event.
The Wildcats' 13 recognized entries competed within the College Division, which includes all NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, junior colleges, Canadian institutions, conference offices, and other non-Division I members from across North America.
The 2025-26 contest set a third consecutive participation record with 2,565 total entries submitted nationwide. Of those, 1,585 entries came from the College Division, where Indiana Wesleyan competed. Nearly 270 institutions and conference offices participated in this year's competition. The contest experienced an 18.7 percent increase in participation from the previous year and has grown nearly 170 percent over the past three years.
"The national recognition received through the CSC Creative & Digital Design Contest is a reflection of the incredible work being done every day by our staff and students," said Director of Athletic Communications, David Kalk. "To have 13 entries recognized against all institutions from non-NCAA Division 1 speaks to the creativity, dedication, and excellence of our entire team."
According to CSC, Division II institutions led the College Division with 711 entries, followed by Division III with 541, the NAIA with 246, Canadian institutions with 27, and two-year colleges with 22. The broad makeup of the College Division creates one of the most competitive environments in collegiate athletics communications.
The CSC Creative & Digital Design Contest is considered one of the premier recognition programs in collegiate athletics communications, honoring excellence in graphic design, photography, videography, writing, social media, publications, and creative content.
