MARION, Ind. – Indiana Wesleyan's athletic department is proud to announce it has earned Silver Star status as a Five-Star Institution in the NAIA's Champions of Character program for the 2025-26 academic year.

Institutions are measured on a demonstrated commitment to Champions of Character and earn points in character training, conduct in competition, academic focus, character recognition and character promotion. Institutions earned points based on exceptional student-athlete grade point averages and by having minimal to no ejections during competition throughout the course of the academic year.

During the 2025-26 school year, the Wildcats demonstrated strong character-based leadership paired with competitive success. IWU sent 14 teams to NAIA national postseason competition during the year; several additional teams had individual qualifiers or earned recognition in their respective NAIA Top 25 rankings.

Additionally, the Crossroads League earned recognition as a Five-Star Conference by the NAIA.
