• Jayd Hovey extended the lead with a 3-pointer at 6:15, marking the Wildcats' largest lead of the quarter at five points.
• Marian responded with a steady comeback, capped by Zoe Wheeler's jumper at 2:23, tying the game at 13.
• The quarter ended with the teams level, Indiana Wesleyan and MU tied at 13.

SECOND QUARTER

• The Knights opened with a strong defensive play, forcing three turnovers in the first two minutes, including a steal by Taylor Double, leading to a layup by Kennedy Coleman at 8:05.
• A pivotal sequence at 6:49 saw Taylor Double hitting a 3-pointer, extending the Knights' lead to 22–14.
• The Wildcats struggled offensively, committing five turnovers and shooting 3-of-12 from the field.
• Marian dominated the paint with 14 points and closed the quarter with a 28–8 advantage, taking a commanding 43–21 lead into halftime.

• Marian built its largest lead of the game at 6:39 with a 3-pointer by Taylor Double, bringing the score to 48–24.
