WINONA LAKE, IND. — Indiana Wesleyan Women's Basketball triumphed over Grace College, 77-71, driven by a strong rebounding performance, out-rebounding Grace 46-38. The Wildcats overcame a strong third quarter from the Lancers that saw them score 29 points on 62% shooting while knocking down eight triples in the frame. Myla Browning had a career day for the Wildcats, scoring a career high 17 points and knocking down 5/7 from deep. This is just the second time Browning has reached double figures this season after scoring 10 in the season opener.

FIRST QUARTER
- The Wildcats opened with a fast-paced attack, converting multiple fast-break opportunities, including a 3-pointer by Kylie Bettinger at 8:39.
- The Lancers responded with a 3-pointer by Emma Sperry at 7:18, leveling the score early in the quarter.
- IWU regained control with a series of 3-pointers from Myla Browning and Koryn Greiwe, extending the lead to 17–5 by 3:31.
- Grace narrowed the gap with a late surge, scoring consecutive layups to close the quarter. Indiana Wesleyan led 19–13 after one.
SECOND QUARTER
- Browning scored a layup at 9:27, following her own missed three-pointer, to extend the red and grey's early advantage.
- Ayla Krygier converted a free throw at 8:16 after securing an offensive rebound, increasing the lead to nine points.
- Sperry's three successful free throws at 2:52 trimmed GC's deficit.
- Indiana Wesleyan closed the quarter ahead 35–31 as Grace's Becca Gerdt scored a layup in the final seconds.
THIRD QUARTER
- Grace opened the quarter with a 3-pointer by Bekah Longenbaugh at 9:43, setting the momentum for a high-scoring period.
- IWU responded with a layup by Addi Hovey at 7:51, tying the score at 37.
- The Lancers regained the lead at 7:02 with a fast-break 3-pointer by Sperry.
- Both teams exchanged leads multiple times, with Grace's Morganne Houk hitting a 3-pointer at 0:50 to push the lead to 60-55.
- Indiana Wesleyan trailed by one point, 60-59, after a shot clock violation on a would be three from Grace turned into a break away layup for Addi Hovey.
FOURTH QUARTER
- Indiana Wesleyan took control early with Ellie Kelleher's layup at 8:05, tying the game at 61-61.
- Bettinger hit a go-ahead 3-pointer at 6:53, putting the Wildcats ahead 64-63.
- Hovey extended the lead with a layup and free throw at 6:03, increasing the margin to 67-63.
- The Wildcats closed out with a 77–71 victory after two clutchfree throws from Krygier at 0:14.
