IWU Women’s Bowling Finishes 18th at NAIABCA Fall Invite

ADDISON, Ill. — Indiana Wesleyan University Women's Bowling continued their season at the NAIABCA Fall Invite Days 1 and 2 on Friday and Saturday.

The Versity team finished day 1 in 10th of 18 teams, but a challenging day 2 saw the Wildcats end 18th overall. SCAD won the weekend taking first.

The Wildcat JV squad also competed and finished the weekend in 5th of 5 teams after finishing day 1 tied for fourth place. St. Francis University won 1st in the JV competition.

KARLIN PERSPECTIVE
  • Women's Varsity Faces a Tough Challenge
The Women's Varsity team finished 18th overall after a challenging day of Baker competition. Despite the result, the Wildcats gained valuable experience and continued working together through a demanding format that requires communication, trust, and contributions from every lineup position.
  • Women's JV Finishes Strong
The Women's JV team closed out Day 2 with a 5th-place finish, continuing a solid weekend of competition. After tying for 4th place on Day 1, the Wildcats once again showed their ability to compete against strong collegiate programs.
  • One Team. One Purpose.
Baker competition puts the team mentality to the test. Every shot matters, every teammate has a role, and success depends on trusting one another. With 25 Baker games on the schedule, Day 2 was an opportunity for our Wildcats to grow together and continue developing the habits that will serve them throughout the season. At Indiana Wesleyan, we believe in Expect More—from ourselves, from each other, and in how we represent our university. We'll take the lessons from this weekend and continue working toward becoming the teams we know we can be.

LOOKING FORWARD

  • The Wildcats will return to the lanes October 31st for the Boilermaker Classic in Lafayette, Ind.
