MOUNT VERNON, Ohio – No. 10 Indiana Wesleyan men's basketball traveled across state lines to Ohio on Wednesday night for a Crossroads League matchup against Mount Vernon Nazarene. The Wildcats secured a commanding 91-66 victory and moved to 4-2 in league play for fourth place. Isaac Andrews was on fire from downtown with eight three-pointers, totaling a career-high 26 points. IWU led by as many as 27 points in the second half and finished with a 53.4% shooting performance from the field.

FIRST HALF
- The red and grey opened with a strong start, gaining a quick 4-0 lead within the first two minutes, with a bucket from Julius Gizzi and DJ Moore hitting two free throws.
- Mount Vernon Nazarene responded with a 6-1 run, capped by Peyton Heiss's 3-pointer with 15:51 remaining, taking a brief lead.
- IWU surged ahead with a 7-2 run, highlighted by Millen McCartney's 3-pointer, extending their lead to 25-20.
- Indiana Wesleyan maintained their momentum, closing the half with a solid finish, as Caedmon Bontrager added a free throw, leading 41-34 at halftime.
SECOND HALF
- The Wildcats began the second half strong with a jumper by Moore, extending their lead early in the half.
- At 9:17, Gizzi hit a 3-pointer, pushing the lead to 19 points as part of a scoring surge to make it 63-44.
- MVNU responded with their own 13-5 run over the next 3:20 to cut the IWU lead to 68-57.
- Isaac Andrews helped put the game out of reach by going a perfect 4-4 from deep on consecutive possessions.
