JACKSON, Mich. - Indiana Wesleyan Women's Soccer junior
Avery Sluss was named the Women's Soccer Crossroads League Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. This is her second Crossroads League Defensive Player of the Week award this season and the fourth of her career.
Sluss did not allow a goal in matches against No. 13 Spring Arbor and No. 24 Taylor. The junior goalkeeper protected the IWU goal with nine total saves in her 180 minutes of work, helping Indiana Wesleyan to a 0-0 draw with SAU and a 1-0 win over TU.
The Wildcats host No. 23 Grace College on Wednesday, October 1st starting at 7:00 PM.
