MARION, Ind. – Steve Babinski is stepping down from his position as Head Coach of the Indiana Wesleyan University softball program. Babinski has totaled a 795-336-1 overall record as a college softball coach. He tallied 220 wins at MidAmerica Nazarene prior to his time at IWU, and he amassed 575 wins in his 14 seasons at the helm of the Wildcats.

"We are thankful for the many, many lives that have been impacted by the work God has done through Babs throughout his tenure here at IWU," said Deane Webb, Athletic Director. "We hope and pray the best for him and his family in the future."

A national search for the next head coach of the Wildcats will begin immediately.
