NO. 13 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL FALLS TO TAYLOR

UPLAND, Ind. — Indiana Wesleyan Women's Basketball fell to Taylor, 66-61, in a tense matchup at Odle Arena, with the Trojans securing the victory through 18 made free throws and a 22-13 point differential in the 4th quarter. The Wildcats led by as many as six points midway through the third quarter before TU regained control.

FIRST QUARTER

  • The red and grey struggled with ball control, committing eight turnovers in the quarter, which TU turned into eight points.
  • TU extended its advantage with a 6–0 fast break run, highlighted by a layup at 2:34, pushing the lead to 15–3.
  • TU led 19–7 at the end of the first quarter.

SECOND QUARTER

  • The red and grey initiated the quarter with a steal by Emily Mattingly, leading to a layup by Koryn Greiwe at 9:34.
  • TU's largest lead reached 13 points at 5:33, following consecutive free throws.
