JACKSON, Mich. - Indiana Wesleyan men's basketball has been voted No. 1 in the Crossroads League Preseason Poll, released by the league office on Wednesday. Caedmon Bontrager, Luke Brown, and Crew Gibson were named to the Preseason All-League Team.

Indiana Wesleyan was voted as the preseason favorite, after going 22-10 overall last season with a 10-8 mark in league play. Head Coach Greg Tonagel, enters his 21^st season with a 550-144 career record. The red and gray qualified for the NAIA National Championships for the 16^th consecutive season and advanced to the second round.

Caedmon Bontrager had another stellar year last season, a earning Crossroads League First Team honors for the first time. He averaged 20.4 points-per-game and 6.3 rebounds-per-game. The Fort Wayne native ranked Top-3 in the league with 245 field goals, 60 blocks, and 654 points.

Luke Brown returns for his second full season with the Wildcats as a red-shirt senior. Last year, he was voted to the Crossroads League Second Team. Brown poured in 18.4 points per-game, while shooting 48.2% from the field. His 75 made three's ranked 2^nd in the league, while his 48.4% was the best in the CRL.

Crew Gibson is ready to take the court for the first time as a Wildcat. The junior comes to IWU this season from Indiana Tech and attended DeSales High School. He was the top scorer for the Warriors last season, averaging 14.9 points-per-game at 55.8%. He also finished with 13 double-doubles and averaged 9.1 rebounds-per-game.

The Wildcats tip off their season at home against Kyper College on Oct. 28 at 6:00PM. The Crossroads League slate begins on November 19 at home against Goshen.
