UPLAND, Ind. - No. 8 Indiana Wesleyan made the trip across Grant County on Saturday for a rivalry match against Taylor. The Wildcats came out on top with a 3-1 victory. Junior Marissa Mullins reached 300 blocks for her career and 200 in her time at Indiana Wesleyan.

MATCH VITALS

• The Wildcats started to take momentum in the first set with an 8-0 run that forced the Trojans to take both of their timeouts.IWU held on for a 25-17 win.
• Taylor came out on fire in set two, taking an 11-5 lead. The Wildcats pulled within 1 point several times but could never even things up and fell 25-22.
• TU kept momentum early in the third set scoring 5 of the first 7 points. Indiana Wesleyan used a 5-0 run to take the lead and force a Trojan timeout. A back and forth rest of the set saw IWU win 25-19.
• The Wildcats slammed the door shut in the fourth set with a dominant 25- 11 victory. the fourth set featured a 13-3 run.
• Marissa Mullins and Eva Joldersma led the offense with 16 kills each.
• Mullins led the defense with 5 blocks. Abbigail Porter and Marin Sanchez posted 3 each.
• Cadee Notter tallied 21 digs.
• Porter totaled 47 assists.
