NO. 5 MEN'S SOCCER STARTS LEAGUE PLAY WITH 2-1 WIN OVER MARIAN

INDIANAPOLIS. Ind. - No. 5 Indiana Wesleyan men's soccer started Crossroads League play with a 2-1 win over Marian University. IWU would score first in the 19th minute from a goal by Brandon Nyagurungo. The Wildcats would extend the lead to 2-0 not too much later when Taha Houssni found the back of the net in the 20th minute. Marian responded with a goal of their own in the 24th minute to make the score 2-1. Neither team would be able to collect another goal as both defenses locked down in the second half. This marks the best start in program history for the Wildcats with nine straight wins!
