FOOTBALL PREVIEW: NO. 7 WILDCATS LOOK TO BOUNCE BACK AGAINST OLIVET NAZARENE

PREVIEW

WEEK 4: Indiana Wesleyan (2-1) at Olivet Nazarene (2-1)
This marks the sixth meeting between the two programs. Both teams enter the match-up with 2-1 records as IWU looks to bounce back after last week's 17-20 loss to Valparaiso.

KICKOFF

Kick-off for the road game will be on Sept. 21^st at 12PM Central/1PM Eastern.

THE SERIES

This marks the sixth game in the all-time series against Olivet Nazarene.
The Wildcats have a 4-1 record with their lone loss coming on the road in Feb. 2021.
IWU won last season's competitive match-up by a score of 34-26.

WILDCAT LEADERS

The IWU offense is a force to be reckoned with – both through the air and on the ground. Ryan Whitwell leads the rushing attack with 371 yards on 68 carries. Kyle Antoine hits 66.29% percent of his attempts through the air and already has 823 yards with 9 touchdowns against three interceptions.
Antoine's main target is Isaac Smith, who leads the team with 247 yards on 17 receptions with four scores. Levi Tidwell is second with 212 yards while Myles Cox has 136 and Whitwell has 77 yards.

The defense has been stout all season long. Luke Bays leads the charge with 26 total tackles with 15 being solo stops. Drake Deshetsky has 19 tackles.

TIGER LEADERS

Jack Miller has thrown for 868 yards with 7 touchdowns against 4 interceptions. He averages 289.3 yards per game through the air while completing 60.5 percent of his attempts.
Miller's main target has been his tight end Blake Lamb, who leads the team with 267 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

The defense is led by John Harman's 22 total tackles and a pass breakup. Chris Boden has 19 tackles on the season.
Sean Outlaw leads the squad with 4 tackles for loss, while five Tigers have recorded a sack.

Gavin Lentz accounts for 40.8 yards per punt with a long of 53. He has 3 punts inside the 20.
