KANSAS CITY, Mo. - No. 6 Indiana Wesleyan Men's basketball fell short in their NAIA National Championship quarterfinal matchup against Langston University to end their season with a final score of 61-48. DJ Moore was the top performer on the evening with 17 points, two rebounds, and one assist. The Wildcats conclude their season with an overall record of 29-6.

WHAT HAPPENED

• After Langston started the first half with the advantage, IWU found themselves battling and gaining the lead at 22-21 with seven minutes to go. 
• LU went on a 16-3 run to close out the half with a 12-point deficit over IWU at 37-25. 
• Both sides started the second half slow with both teams shooting under 30% with 13 minutes remaining.
• The red and gray were unable to close the gap between the Lions and were defeated in the quarterfinals with a final score of 61-48.

• 6: The Wildcat defense was able to hold the Lions to 6-25 from the field in the second half at 24%. 
• 14: LU tallied 14 second-chance points, compaired to just 4 for IWU.
