MARION, Ind. - No. 6 Indiana Wesleyan Men's Basketball will travel to Kansas City for their the Round of 16 after defeating the University of Tennessee Southern with a final score of 92-81. Javan Buchanan was the top performer for the Wildcats on the day with a season-high 37 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and a steal.

WHAT HAPPENED

• The first quarter started with both sides efficient around the basket, with a 14-12 scoreline in the first five minutes. 
• The Wildcats were able to break from a back-and-forth first half with a six-point lead with three minutes to go to close the half with a scoreline of 45-40.
• The red and gray began a find their rhythm after another nail-biter half and gained an eight-point lead with four minutes to go.
• IWU secured their trip to the Round of 16 after taking a 10-point lead with 2 minutes to go and sealing the game at a scoreline of 92-81.

• 30: The Wildcats out rebounded the Firehhawk's 30-23. 
• 55: Both IWU and UTS shot 55% from the field on the day.
