MOUNT VERNON, Oh. - No. 4 Indiana Wesleyan Women's basketball was victorious on the road, defeating Mount Vernon Nazarene with a final score of 93-55. Taylor Folkema was the leading performer for the Wildcats on the day with 24 points, six rebounds, five steals, and a block.

WHAT HAPPENED

• A back-and-forth first quarter saw IWU shoot 33% from the field but grabbed five steals to find a lead at 17-14 entering the second quarter. 
• The Wildcats started the second quarter with an 8-0 run and continued their strong defensive showing with six steals to gain a thorough 18-point lead at 45-27 to end the half. 
• IWU built further upon their lead in the third quarter with 22 of 24 points coming from the paint and gained a 30-point lead at 69-39. 
• In the fourth quarter, IWU cruised to win their 24th game of the season with a final score of 93-55.

• 10: The 38-point victory marks IWU's 10th win of 30 or more points. 
• 16: Taylor Folkema scored 16 of her 24 points in the first half.
