MARION, Ind. - No. 6 Indiana Wesleyan Men's Basketball capped off their return to Luckey Arena with a blowout victory against rival Taylor University in their second meeting with a final score of 99-61. Javan Buchanan was the top performer for the Wildcats on the night with 24 points on six rebounds, four assists, two steals, and a block.

WHAT HAPPENED

• The first five minutes were close between IWU and Taylor before IWU found themselves on an 18-3 run with 12 minutes to go to establish a strong lead with a score of 46-32 entering the second half. Griffin Kliewer capped off the first half with a near full court shot at the buzzer.
• IWU found a strong defensive presence in the second half, grabbing ten steals and gaining a 30-point lead with eight minutes to go before closing the game out with a final score of 99-61. 

NOTABLE NUMBERS

• 14: The Wildcats grabbed 14 steals on the night with 10 in the second half.
• 17: Nathan Childress played a huge role in the first half scoring 17 of his 19 points and going 6-9 from the field.
