MARION, Ind. - No. 2 Indiana Wesleyan women's basketball earned their thirteenth win of the season, defeating College of Saint Mary 91-48 to open the Hoops in Hawaii Classic. Taylor Folkema led the Wildcats with 23 points, 7 steals, and 4 rebounds.

WHAT HAPPENED

• IWU scored the first 8 points of the game, including 6 from Taylor Folkema. The Indiana Wesleyan defense held the Flames to just 7 points through the first quarter while the offense poured in 29. 
• The script flipped in the second quarter as CSM outscored the Wildcats 16-8 to trim the lead to 14 heading into halftime.
• The Wildcat offense was unstoppable in the third quarter, dropping 37 points to grow their lead to 38.
• IWU finished off the lopsided win by holding the Flames to just 12 points in the fourth quarter.

NOTABLE NUMBERS

• 43: IWU scored 43 points off of turnovers, while the Flames only managed to score 5 points off of Wildcat turnovers.
• 36: The Wildcats forced 36 turnovers, a season high.
