SEASON IN REVIEW: 2024 FOOTBALL

MARION, Ind. – Indiana Wesleyan Football finished their season with a 11-2 overall record, including an undefeated conference record for their third-consecutive MSFA Mideast Championship. The Wildcats advanced to the NAIA FCS Quarterfinals for the third-straight season before falling to #9 Benedictine College at home, 20-9.


TEAM HIGHLIGHTS
  • The team tied their highest win total in program history with 11 wins.
  • IWU set 37 team and eight individual single-season program records.
  • The Wildcats have gone three seasons without losing a regular-season home game (15 games).
  • Indiana Wesleyan held their highest all-time ranking in the NAIA GoRout Top 25 at No. 3 for six of the 10 regular-season ratings.
  • The squad recorded their highest number of MSFA All-Academic recipients in program history with 45.

  • Ryan Whitwell and Roosevelt Cage are the first IWU running back duo to both record 1,000+ yards in a season.
  • Cage's 16 rushing touchdowns are the most in program history.
  • Whitwell became the first Wildcat to average over 115 rushing yards per game.
  • Isaac Smith's 86 catches and 14 touchdowns are the most in a season for an IWU receiver.
  • Josh Clifton set a new single-season program record with 106 points.
  • Clayton Mosher set a new career program record with 294 tackles.
  • Neil Campbell's 16 career interceptions were good for a new program record.
