MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - No. 22 Indiana Wesleyan men's basketball began their winter break trip to Florida on Saturday evening with a game at Florida Memorial. The Wildcats locked in defensively in a low-scoring game to earn their 9^th win of the season, 65-54 over the Lions. IWU recorded a season-high 20 steals, while forcing FMU into 27 turnovers.

WHAT HAPPENED

• Griffin Kliewer scored 12 points in the first ten minutes of play as IWU took an early 20-14 lead.
• A low scoring game saw IWU record 12 steals in the first half, just three shy of a season-high for a 30-24 halftime lead.
• The Wildcats knocked down four three-pointers to begin the second half to extend their lead to 48-37 with 10 minutes left in the game.
• IWU saw their largest lead of the game reach 14 points off a dunk by Caedmon Bontrager with 17 seconds left.

• 65: The Wildcats' 65 points are the least in a game this season.
• 20: IWU recorded a season-high 20 steals, the most in a game since Nov. 5, 2016 against Moody Bible Institute.
