MARION, Ind. - The Esports team had plenty of matches to keep things interesting this week.
On Monday night, the University of Florida Valorant team forfeited against the Wildcats Valorant team. With the forfeit win, Valorant moves to 4-1 in the Central A division, all but securing a Central Conference Fall playoff spot.
The forfeit left Smash Bros. as the only team playing on Monday. They faced both NECC Inlands A division leaders this week, taking on Evansville on Monday and Saginaw Valley State on Tuesday. The Wildcats struggled on set one in both games, falling 0-2 in both.
Thursday saw Rocket League taking on Northern Iowa in NECC play. Both teams came into the match with a 3-1 record. In an uncharacteristically bad game, the Wildcats fell 0-3. However, the Wildcats are still very much in the Midwest Playoff picture, sitting at 4th in the Midwest B Division standings.
Finally, Saturday's double-header saw the Smash Bros. and Valorant teams taking on Muskingum. Smash Bros. had two close sets, but ultimately fell 0-2. The Wildcats Valorant team continued their struggle against higher ranked teams with a 0-2 loss as well. While 4-1 in the NECC, all against evenly ranked teams, they fall to 3-5 in the GLEC.

- Smash Bros. captain Jourdain Brown, "Dain", had an impressive 6 stock showing against some tough competition in Saturday's match against Muskingham
- Drew Busman, "Novo", was the leader for the Wildcats in their Valorant match against Muskingham, averaging a 258 combat score
- Gise Gibson, "Twizt", had two of the Wildcat's three goals in their Rocket League match against Northern Iowa
