MARION, Ind. - This week, the Esports team played 5 total games, with four of them being played by the Valorant team.
The crazy week started with Valorant taking down North Georgia and Cleary 2-0 on Monday and Thursday respectively. The big win on Thursday was preceded by Rocket League's 3-1 win over Missouri S&T, moving them to 3-1 overall.
The end of Valorant's week saw them fall 0-2 against Cleveland State and Tiffin on Friday and Saturday. Despite playing against GLEC and national powerhouses, the Valorant team was able to take a few rounds in each game and work towards solid improvement. After the 2-2 week, they move to 6-5 overall and 3-4 in the GLEC.
Standout Wildcats
- Jeb Byrd, "Drybbles", continues to impress. He lead the Wildcats in points on Thursday against MST
- Drew Busman, "Novo", had a dominant performance against Cleary, achieving above a 2.0 KDA on both maps
This week is a bit of a lighter week for Valorant, but still includes plenty of action for Wildcats fans:
