MARION, Ind. - No. 9 Indiana Wesleyan men's basketball picked up a key win over conference foe University of Saint Francis on Saturday, defeating the Cougars 83-77 in overtime. Javan Buchanan provided a big lift in the win, pouring in 32 points on 13/24 shooting, while adding 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks, and 2 steals. Griffin Kliewer added a season high 25 points including the dagger in overtime.

- After a back and forth first five minute, USF took the first run of the game, holding a 17-8 lead with 13 minutes left in the half.
- IWU battled back, ending the half trailing 35-33.
- The Wildcats took the lead at 41-39 on a layup from Kliewer. A three from Buchanan gave IWU their largest lead of the game at 9.
- The Cougars clawed their way back and held a lead for a majority of the final 2 minutes. A Buchanan dunk with 30 second left sent the game into OT.
- Kliewer took over in OT scoring 6 of the team's 10 points, and lifting IWU to the victory.
