SPRING ARBOR, Mich. - No. 2 Indiana Wesleyan women's basketball kept things rolling on Wednesday night, picking up a 22 point road win over conference foe Spring Arbor. After a close first quarter the Wildcats stepped up defensively in the second frame, outscoring the Cougars 19-7.

WHAT HAPPENED

• Both teams got off to strong starts as IWU held a 22-19 advantage after one quarter.
• A dominate defensive quarter from the Wildcats proved to be the biggest difference in the game as IWU took a 41-26 lead into the locker room.
• The Cougars strung together some runs in the second half but were unable to cut into the deficit as IWU expanded their lead to 22 at the final buzzer.

NOTABLE NUMBERS

• 7: The Wildcats held the Cougars to only 7 points in the second quarter, building a 15 point lead going into halftime.
• 20: IWU forced Spring Arbor into 20 turnovers.
• 12: Indiana Wesleyan picked up their 12th striaght victory.
