FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan track and field kicked off the 2024 indoor season Saturday, participating in The Mastodon Invite on the campus of Purdue Fort Wayne. The throws team highlighted the day as Princess Kara earned an NAIA A standard in shot put with a throw of 13.68m. Dan Heinig also hit an NAIA A standard with 17.7m weight throw. As a squad, IWU took home 20 Top-3 finishes with two NAIA B standards to go along with their two NAIA A standards.
