MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan men's and women's track and field turned in a strong showing this weekend at the 121st Annual Indiana Little State Championships, totaling numerous top-3 finishes across sprints, distance, hurdles, relays, and field events on the Wildcats' home track.
 
The men set two program school records. The 4x100 Relay team of Marcus Mellentine, Sam Goodin, Drew Dutton, Payton Mayfield recorded a time of 41.59. Ridge Willard traveled to different meet at Indiana State where he scored 6,766 points in the Decathlon to qualify for nationals. The women's 4x800 Relay team of Abby Wallace, Sophia Haslett, Karis Hunter, and Makena Cruse recorded the Wildcats' only NAIA A standard at 9:12.12.
