MARION, Ind. - No. 2 Indiana Wesleyan Women's Basketball continued their win streak, moving to 15 straight wins. with a victory against Mount Vernon Nazarene University 91-73. Jade Nutley was the leading scorer for the Wildcats with 26 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block, and 1 steal. IWU will travel to Goshen, Ind. to face the MapleLeafs on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.

  • With a slow start to the game, IWU trailed 27-11 after the first quarter. 
  • After being down by 16 from the first quarter, an incredible run from the Wildcats in the second quarter saw them find the lead and enter the second half with a six-point advantage at 38-32. 
  • In the third quarter, IWU started the second half quickly and continued to build upon their advantage, shooting 50% from the field and leading the charge by 17. 
  • The Wildcats went back and forth with MVN to maintain their lead and come out on top with a final score of 91-73.

  • 6: Jordan Reid secured six steals on the day.
  • 10: The Wildcats held MVNU to a mere 5 points on 1-10 shooting in the second quarter to establish a strong defensive showing.
